Research Channel 6, Vicky Benedict Farber and Marguerite Gordon "Over my 35-year career in television, I've taken my share of fortune 500 clients to a myriad of restaurants from Center City to New Jersey to Maryland to NYC to the Main Line. I have to tell you that YOUR salmon and tilapia had to be THE best I've ever tasted and believe me, I've tasted a LOT of fish in my day! (And, YOUR desserts were so obscene, they should've had an "R" rating to them! So decadent, but SO delicious!)
More than that, it meant a lot to share our experiences as mothers (hope-to-be-for-me!) and grandmothers. Your daughter and grandson are very lucky to have you in their lives...
It was an otherwise beautiful end-of-summer evening, but it was even more so because of your warmth and graciousness, and your husband's exquisite cuisine culinary talent!"

Surprise Gem in Neighborhood by Jillian
October 10, 2009 - "I tried it with some friends and was surprised at the quality of our meals, not to mention the touches of creativity, such as the wasabi mash potatoes served with my sesame encrusted teriyaki salmon. It is a warm, friendly neighborhood bistro with food above expectations. I recommend it."
Linda B. Wynnewood, PA. "Superb, priced right BYOB. Went here on a friday night for dinner, arrived at 7:30 and only waited 5 minutes to be seated. I went with the waiters suggestion for the entree and he was right! It was the most delicious salmon dish ever. The special lobster crab over capellini and equally the chicken with portabello and artichoke dishes that my guests had were as delicious. There gave nice portions but still had plenty of room for the fried cheesecake with ice cream which was over the top. Great wait service too. Fabulous dining experience , highly recommend."
"A solid neighborhood brunch spot with a number of breakfast options. I sampled the Creole Omelet, which was strongly flavored with andouille sausage, roasted peppers, perfectly melted Jack cheese, peppers and a delicious Chipotle sauce with a little kick - a great choice!" -Kristin W., Philadelphia, PA 8/14/2011
"What a great surprise! We remember way back in the day when it was Lou's. An inexpensive neighborhood eatery which was never that great, but we all went anyway. This is not Lou's! I can assure you of this. It's been beautifully redone and updated, any trace of Lou's is pretty much gone other than the re-done lunch counter...
We stopped in for lunch today. The meal was really great! I had an Asian pork sandwich and the wife had a Turkey sandwich that pretty much looked like Thanksgiving on a roll! Both items were superb as well as the mushroom barley soup that we shared. The french fries, both regular & sweet potato were awesome! We saw the dessert tray and all available items looked fantastic and very edible, hand crafted, not the thawed junk that a lot of places will put out, especially for the lunch period! The people next to us got desserts and we couldn't help but hear them raving! Anything that looked that good just HAD to be good!!
We look forward to a return for dinner! And we will bring a bottle, as it is a BYOB. See you there!" -Richard T, Merritt Island, FL
